We hebben het jaar goed ingezet, op de eerste meeting waren we met 6 mensen. Spijtig genoeg kon D er niet bij zijn.

We started the new year with 6 people on the first meeting. A shame D couldn’t see it.

A maakte ons jaloers met haar stapel granny squares. De bedoeling is om elke dag eentje te maken.
A made us drool with heaps of granny squares. She has accepted the challenge to crochet one every day.

Ze vond de meeting het ideale moment om wat af te werken en wij waren er om haar aan te moedigen. Wie zou er nu zo geen helm willen?  She found the meeting ideal to finish some projects, we were there to encourage her. Every boy (or girl?) would like a helmet like that, no?

WiQued is al goed gevorderd in de Sylvi, we zijn benieuwd om de rest van de kabels te zien. Onder het kunstlicht komt het mooie groen niet tot zijn recht.
WiQued has already knitted a lot on Sylvi, lots of nice cables growing. The light at Boho doesn’t do honour to the lovely green.

L. kwam voor de eerste keer en werkte aan een giraf, een paarse ja. En er komt ook een groene. L came for the first time and crocheted a giraffe, a purple one yes. And there will be a green one as well.

Verder nog een sjaal, amigurimi en een trui.
There were also a scarf, amigurimi and a sweater in progress.

Announcement regarding Sunday meetings

Seeing that the Sunday meetings are not that popular (mostly just two of us), I think it’s better to skip them, at least for a while, until there seems to be more interest. So see you the 15th of November!

Aangezien de samenkomsten op zondag niet echt populair zijn, ik denk het beter om ze over te slaan tot wanneer erin meer insterest is. Tot 15 november!

Seems like we skipped a few meetings! Sorry about that.

This meeting was just P and me. We were so entertained I forgot to take pictures of her crocheted hat and my knitted hot water bottle cozy 😦 But we enjoyed ourselves and relaxed after a long day of work.

This time MP and E from KnitFlanders joined us for a while. E was knitting a sweater of which I forgot to take a picture. S came for the first time, and the regulars W, T & L were also there. P couldn’t make it, and we hope to see her next time. And now for some pictures:

Deze keer kwamen MP en E van KnitFlanders op bezoek. E was een trui aan het breien waarvan ik geen foto heb. S kwam voor de eerste keer, en W, T & L waren ook daar. P kon niet aanwezig zijn, maar we hopen dat ze volgende keer kan komen. En nu enkele foto’s:

We had to cancel this meeting due to the chaos the center was thanks to the light festival. We are very sorry we didn’t post before hand and we hope to see everybody during the next meeting, the 16th of February at 19:30.

We moesten deze samenkomst annuleren ten gevolge van de chaos in het centrum door het lichtfestival. We willen ons verontschuldigen voor niet vooraf te posten en we hopen dat iedereen aanwezig is tijdens de volgende bijeenkomst, op 16 februari om 19u30.
